Freedom is the

only thing that counts.

TV series, btf, ZDF

A German revolution in six acts: The official founding of the Reich has already been completed by a small group of Sovereignists. The only thing left now is to finally violently overthrow the German government. “Freedom is the only thing that counts,” they agree on that. Just what exactly this freedom means for each individual remains to be clarified. Under the alias Hans, the leader (Bibiana Beglau) scares away his co-conspirators, including Willi (Manfred Zapatka), through the final preparations leading up to the revolution: More new followers are needed and what should actually happen to the countless prisoners who will exist after the revolution? In theory, it all sounded a lot easier. But shortly before the coup, the question comes up: Who among those involved can actually kill reasonably?
